Good News / Bad News

Well, I've got good news, and bad
news.

The bad
news
is that the solo show is packed up, and
ready to ship
out.
.

The
good news is
that I will have another painting in KMG's Group Show which opens Saturday (June 4).

Show Booklets

Thanks to "iPhoto," I have been able to put
together a booklet of the
paintings
from
2004-2005 shown at KMG. If you would like a copy, I would be happy to have one
made and shipped to you. If you are interested, visit the booklet
page
to order one, or just contact
me.
If I find that there is interest in this sort of thing, I might

Solo Show: April 15-May 27, 2005

The dates are set for my solo show in
Chelsea: April 15-May 27 2005.

It will be at KMG: 526
West 26th Street, Suite 713, New York, NY. Telephone: 212-414-1715

The opening will be on April 15, from
5-8 pm, at the gallery.

Mark your
calendars. It will be predominantly 2004 work, with a few 2005's as well.

2005 Page

I have put up a page for 2005 paintings. I am
shooting images of two new paintings and they should be appearing
soon.

Title to Come....

Abraham
Brewster, Title to Come,
2004. Two paintings, oil on canvas,
each 28 x 66 inches.

The last paintings
of 2004 are now on the site. The title is to come, but the working title has
been "Break," which seems suitable.

Last Paintings of 2004 / Solo Show / Etc.

The last paintings of 2004 will soon be up on the
site. I have started on the first of 2005 which, if it works out, should be a
bit of a departure from what I have done previously.

I have an upcoming solo show in Chelsea,
details to come soon, in April. If you have signed up for my mailing list (on
the contact
page
), you will get an
invitation.

In the meantime, you might
want to check out Seth Cohen's paintings at Seth-Cohen.net.

Happy
New Year!

As You Probably Noticed....

Abraham Brewster, Crux
(Detail) 2004. Oil on canvas. 72 x 42
inches.

Two new paintings,
Crux
and Veil,
have appeared on the site. Those who visited the
studio during "Art Under the Bridge" saw

"Fiercer Than Sleep" on Display

Fiercer
Than Sleep
will be on display at the opening
of the Scarano
& Associates
new building in DUMBO. It is the new building with
the angular roof near the York Street F subway stop. If you look carefully, it
is visible throughout the neighborhood. Thank you to the architect, Dedy
Blaustein, for choosing to show it.

Thank You

To all who visited my studio, and indeed all
studios in Dumbo over the weekend, thank you for looking at the work. The
weekend was a great success. I should have some more news
shortly...

Art Under The Bridge: Oct 15-17

I
will have my studio open during the Art

New Painting

A new painting will soon be on the website. It is
as yet untitled, but will be before it makes it onto the website in full form. A
small image of it is below. The second which I mentioned in the previous entry
is proving difficult to resolve. Hopefully it will be finished soon as
well.

The three paintings of
